Portinari of Brazil

Why?

As an architect and designer growing up in Brazil I was inspired by Portinari's contributions to our culture. But it wasn't until 2019, when I was invited to design an event for a Project Portinari talk in Recife that I dove deeply into his history. Through my research I learned about his first show at the MoMA and his contributions to Brazil's international reputation.

Moving to New York City in 2023 I found a passion for exhibition design. It combines architecture, design, production and user experience in a way that brings all my past experiences together. As I begin to apply for jobs in the industry I wanted to create a unique project that could show my skills across design, architecture, 3D modeling, curation, video content, interactive installations and reflect my passion for Brazilian culture.
