Symphony of Art & Nature
Wedding Design
Concept, 2d drawings and layout, 3d model, set design and decoration.
Set in my hometown of Recife, this wedding was more than a celebration — it was a manifesto of love, culture, and artistic freedom. After our first ceremony at City Hall in New York City we wanted this theme to showcase the other side of our love - a passion for art and the beauty of the natural world.
Graphic Design
The visual identity was the first step in crafting the experience. I selected graphic designer Gustavo Gusmão, for his ability to bring the a modern approach paired with the historical significance of Pernambuco. The graphic system highlighted the Region’s cultural richness through elements like La Ursa, Zabumba drums, and references to the Armorial Movement. These symbols shaped the mood, palette, and storytelling of the event.
Color Palette
The colors of the set design drew directly from the Pernambuco state flag — vivid blue, red, yellow, green, and white — inspiring a color block concept that embraced tropical energy and visual unity. We asked each guest to dress in one of the palette’s colors, and offered fans in matching shades to complete the ensemble. This turned the entire celebration into a moving, living artwork of tropical energy.
Tropical energy
The tables were styled monochromatically, with edible centerpieces made from tropical fruits and vegetables, chosen in the same tones as the guests' looks.
The entire experience was born from a narrative of love, belonging, and everything we believe in as a couple. The story was told throughout every aspect of the design in a way that nuanced and elegant.

It was magical, fun and full of love.
