Under the sea treasure hunt

For the launch of Disney Junior’s new Ariel brand identity, I was invited by the agency Hudson & Nine to design an immersive experience for children aged 2 to 6. Inspired by the visual universe of the new Ariel and an underwater aesthetic, I created a playful, sensory, and safe children’s park that told a story through space.

Spacial Narrative

Children entered the park through an “anemona tunnel” made of colorful foam pool noodles, climbed a rope net to a sunken ship, and slid out of a giant oyster into a ball pit. Every part of the journey was designed to stimulate imagination and movement while staying true to the character’s world.

My responsibilities included:

  • Spatial layout development and immersive storytelling

  • 3D modeling of all play elements

  • Research and sourcing of materials and vendors within the client’s budget

  • Study and integration of Disney Junior’s new visual identity for Ariel

This project allowed me to combine storytelling, scenography, and entertainment architecture into a vibrant and sensory proposal tailored for young audiences.
