Packaging Design

This project was developed as part of the Packaging Design course at the School of Visual Arts (SVA).

The brief challenged students to create a CBD infused beverage brand from concept to final packaging, considering not only visual identity but also positioning, storytelling, and user experience within a highly competitive market.

For this project, I was inspired by the natural cycle of the sun and the body’s circadian rhythm — the subtle yet powerful shifts that guide our energy, focus, and rest throughout the day.

The idea was to make Journey a daily ritual.

From the minimal visual language to the carefully selected ingredients and tone of voice, every element was developed to evoke a sense of calm, clarity, and balance.

More than a packaging exercise, this project became an exploration of experiential branding — where product, story, and feeling come together to create a meaningful and memorable experience.

Design Approach

This project was guided by a set of core principles introduced during the course, which shaped both the concept and the final outcome:

  • Simplify to sell — The design was reduced to its essential elements, using a minimal layout and clear visual hierarchy to create an immediate and intuitive connection with the consumer.

  • Deliver one message — Instead of communicating multiple ideas, the brand focuses on a single, strong concept: a daily moment of calm aligned with the body’s natural rhythm.

  • Tell your story visually — The narrative of sunrise and sunset is expressed through color, and composition, allowing the product to communicate without relying on excessive text.

  • Be authentic — The project reflects a genuine exploration of wellbeing, rhythm, and personal rituals, resulting in a brand that feels honest, intentional, and emotionally resonant.

I developed a system of icons to extend the brand into social media and digital marketing, promoting community-based experiences such as meditation, yoga, and running clubs.
